Travel post 4 out of 5 is here!
I know, I’m about two months late with this post (and there’s still another to go!). But there’s never a bad time to relive adventures, is there? And I cannot wait to show you the gorgeousness that is New Zealand.
Before New Zealand, we were in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. *Insert the realization that those are located in different hemispheres, and thus two vastly different seasons.* So we stopped back in Melbourne for a night, washed our clothes, and repacked our winter gear before heading back on the plane for a quick few days in Queenstown.
Despite the red-eye flight, the sunrise over the mountains was totally worth it.
And only the beginning.
Queenstown is a quaint town located on a Lake Wakatipu, set against the Southern Alps, which meant gorgeous views wherever you looked!
Views best seen from high up on the Skyline Gondola Ride.
Yummy food – including BREAKFAST BOARDS!
Other highlights: wine. Lots and lots of wine.
Until next time, New Zealand, it’s been great!
